Thankfulness needs to be a much bigger part of my life. Learning to stop and take notice of the joys on my life, you know the little things that make me smile. I hear that this the way to eucharisteo – life-filling gratitude.

#3 Boys excitedly sniffing grilled chicken.
We are on the GAPS diet and have been mainly eating meats boiled in stock for the past 3 weeks. We recently moved up to stage 4 and are allowed to grill....the boys (ages 2 and 4) kept leaning close to get great big sniffs of their chicken, with beaming faces saying "barbecue" and "bee-ba-que" There wasn't any sauce or anything on the chicken but I suppose they recognized the wonderful smells from outdoor cooking of the meat! It was YUMMO!

I've been meaning to ask you how the gaps diet is going? What kind of improvements are you seeing?
ReplyDeleteIts going GOOD! Eric's allergies are almost gone. He had a tiny "flare up" ....well he got a tiny bit itchy and watery eyes and a bit stuffy one day....but normally he would be miserable for several days and half of that time it would turn into a sinus infection and last for weeks.
